"I’ve been working from home for 5 years while I had kids and going slowly mad from the distractions… this place is absolutely perfect for my graphic design business. The perfect work space for busy freelancers. I thoroughly recommend it."

Briony Hartley, Freelance Graphic Designer.

Creatives in Residence

The Old School House Boscombe opened it’s doors in 2014 and we continue to grow with creative freelancers and businesses making the most of this beautiful, light and professional co-working space. Here’s a glimpse of some of the creatives currently at work here:

Mhub is a technology company that specialises in on-demand video communications.

DMHub (2) A number of large enterprise organisations use the Mhub platform to manage, share and track video communications for various areas of their business including training, internal communications, sales and marketing.

Mhub can be used quickly and easily to create microsites that can be viewed on mobile/ desktop web browsers and also using a suite of Mhub apps for iOS, Android and Windows.

Mhub is based in London but is made up of people who work all over the country. The technical part of the business recently moved to The Old School House and is proving to be the best place to work for them!

“The Old School House working environment is great for really getting your head down and getting some work done, as well as having a cup of tea and a chat with some very nice and interesting people. The building also provides a very pleasant setting to attract new people into the business, and also to host meetings with the rest of the company who travel here on a monthly basis” –Sam @Mhub

Jamie Higham is a Garden Designer for Green Dot Gardens Ltd.

I love the outdoors and so do my kids. Daylight makes me happy and weather excites me. Activity makes me feel alive. Outdoor living is for me.

This is why I do what I do.

I aim to improve the way we live our lives outdoors. My dream is to see us all live in our gardens more – whatever the weather, all year round. I see endless opportunities to make this happen. Finding the ‘win-wins’ gives me a buzz – it leads to great design. Imagine a stylish play structure with in-built storage, becoming over time, a playroom or studio. Imagine a cool decked terrace with bench seats designed for storing garden toys and a sand- or fire-pit concealed under a trap door.  Loads of function wrapped together in a coherent stylish design – this is what excites me.

How do I get this right? I ask questions and listen.

Let’s chat about how you could get the most out of your outdoor space.
